Trying to save the world a little bit at a time. Reaching out and working with the community, as well as trying to save the environment.

Reclaimed, Renewed, Repurposed With Best Intentions. The items I create are from reclaimed textiles destined for the landfill; giving these beautiful articles a second chance. The textiles used have been donated or found second hand. In a VERY rare instance, I may have to purchase something new… VERY VERY RARE. I attempt to use as much of the textile as possible in my creations, and have researched and found a location to donate my remaining scraps in order to essentially be turned into fabric mulch. You can follow my facebook page, with_best_intentions, to learn more on reducing our waste in the world, and get ideas on repurposing fashion.

How awesome that she is creating something new from items that would normally end up in the landfill. Basically this gift to Mother Nature could also be a gift to your mother. How adorable would these lace gift baskets look with some of the items like the bracelets and skincare?
