2019 Summer Raffle

I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it! The Pointer Sisters expressed my feelings perfectly. I’m totally stoked to do the first ever Tinged Blue Summer Raffle 2019!

I could just pay more to social media outlets to promote my blog and posts, but I decided to invest that money in my followers. What better way to broaden the audience than by having an incentive for those amazing and loyal DIYers? Yep, that’s you! Originally I was going to make one large prize but my sons told me that splitting it up would allow more people to win. True. Who doesn’t like to win something, right? Let’s spread the joy!

Starting from the left hand side:

Prize #1

A set of wire brushes-which are great for removing loose paint or debris before painting. I also use these same type of wire brushes for cleaning my paint brushes. They are great at removing any dried on paint from the bristles. The yellow item is a Fits All Paint Can Spout. Basically, when you pour paint out from a can, it will prevent those terrible drips down the side. (Retails for $5.06 plus tax)

Prize #2

Purdy XL Medium Stiff Nyon/Polyester 2.5″ angled brush. This brush is designed for all paints and stains and is considered the most versatile brush. The fluted handle is shaped to rest easier in a hand. (Retails for $17.79 plus tax)

Purdy Clearcut Stiff Nylon/Polyester 1.5″ angled brush. This brush is designed for all paints and has excellent cut-in ability. The rat tail handle can be held like a pencil and creates precise lines for cutting in around molding, trim, corners and ceilings. (Retails for $11.79 plus tax)

So How Can You Win a Prize?

Simply earn a raffle entry, or two, for each task performed as listed below. I will be carefully recording each person’s efforts and on Drawing Day, September 5th, I will input all of the entries into an automated raffle system to select the winners. It would be fun to do the raffle live, right? That settles it. I will do a Facebook Live. If you are one of the three lucky winners, send me your address (Email lisa@tingedblue.com, we don’t want private info broadcast online. Safety first!) and I will promptly mail out your prizes. No strings attached! I just want to reward my followers while broadening my audience. We both win.
